Karina Kozhevnikova – one of the most famous jazz singers in Russia. Unique and embracing timbre of her voice, perfect jazz improvising technique, broad repertoire and deep understanding of jazz music makes her very welcome in best jazz venues in Russia and around the world. She follows great tradition of Ella Fitzherald, Sarah Vaughn and other great singers, taking the best but creating her own and unique jazz voice sound. Karina graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University as piano player, but her will to sing always was prevailing and starting since 1996 she starts performing as singer in Moscow and other Russian cities. Her bright talent was soon noticed and top Russian jazz musicians started to invite for performance. She is performing with such great musicians as Igor Butman, Aleksey Kuznetsov, Lev Kushnir, Yakov Okun and many others.

Pavel Skornyakov is a rising star on the international jazz scene. He started his musical careen in Ufa, but now permanently resides in Moscow where plays with best Russian musicians.

As a gifted composer and musician, Pavel is a virtuoso of the alto sax, soprano sax, tenor sax, and flute. Pavel has already forged an impressive chain of successes: as well as performing in cities across his native Russia, he has also played successful shows throughout the rest of Europe.

He performed with such jazz stars as Valery Ponomarev, Scott Hamilton, Mark Turner, Hiram Bullock, Paul Bollenback and others. Through such commitment to his art, Pavel connects to audiences of all sizes and tastes, transcending language with the sheer beauty of a man creating music from his soul. For both dedicated jazz-fans and lovers of all live music, Pavel Skornyakov promises a show you will never forget.

Makar Novikov is one of the most well-known double bass player in Russian jazz scene. Great accompanist and virtuoso soloist with beautiful sound, he was the partner of many famous jazz musicians, such as: Jimmy Cobb, Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, Kenny Baron, James Spaulding, Lew Tabakin, Debora Brown, Jimmy Greene, Gene Jackson, Steve Slagle, Giacomo Gates, Craig Handy, Gary Smulyan, Alex Sipiagin, Igor Butman and many others.

In 2005 Makar, student of Moscow Gnesin Academy of Music, came to New York and participated in Open World Program at Thelonious Monk Institute. As a result, he played at the Blue Note Club with Clark Terry, Kenny Barron, Jimmy Heath and Lewis Nash.

In 2008 he joined to famous Russian group, MosGorTrio. This is jazz trio of one of the best Russian piano player Yakov Okun and amazing Sasha Mashin on drums. At this trio Makar played a lot all around Russia with many great American musicians, such as Lew Tabackin, Deborah Brown, James Spaulding, and many others.

Since that time, Makar performed at best jazz places and festivals all over the world, some of them are: Blue Note Jazz Club, Apollo theatre (New York), Ronnie Scott’s jazz club (London), Duc de lambards (Paris), Montreux jazz festival (Switzerland) , Jazzkaar (Tallinn), Triumph of Jazz, Great Hall of the Moscow conservatory (Moscow)

In 2013 Makar took part in famous Russian TV show “Big Jazz”, and was the finalist of it, but he had to leave this show because of “The night in Apollo”, big jazz festival in Apollo Theatre, New York.

Nowadays, Makar continue to work with many best Russian musicians, such as Yakov Okun, Daniil Kramer, Ivan Farmakovsky, Alexander Mashin, Igor Fedorov, Alexander Zinger, Anatoly Kroll, Igor Bril and many others.

Well known Cyprus jazz musicians Leonid Nesterov and Andreas Stefanou will be accomplishing the quintet.
