SUMMARY:Filigree Jewellery workshop
DESCRIPTION:After arriving at our workshop\, visitors will first be informed about the history of Cypriot jewellery with a historical review of the filigree technique from ancient times\, the glorious period of its making in Lefkara village\, the limited activity of Cypriot silversmiths today and the reason behind the creation of our workshop Then there will be a tour in the workshop and an explanation of the machines as well as a comparison with the ancient construction method. After the tools that each visitor will have on his counter will be explained and with\n\n		the guidance of Eleni\, the construction of a complete filigree jewellery will begin. SUMMARY:37th Ayia Napa International Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Ayia Napa Festival is\, undoubtedly\, the most popular and well anticipated event that takes place in the tourist resort of Ayia Napa\, and one of the most famous events of the island. The first festival took place in September 1985 and has since been established as an annual event. It is always the last week of September\, in order to coincide with the World Tourism Day. The festival has festive events\, which reflecting the historical\, cultural and agricultural traditions of Ayia Napa and all of Cyprus. Visitors have the opportunity to learn the traditions and customs of the local people\, the musical traditions and folk art and especially to enjoy the warm Cypriot hospitality. The program includes\, among others\, theatrical performances\, concerts and Cypriot and foreign folk dancing. Within the framework of the festival are organized plenty of events such as exhibitions of paintings and photographs of contemporary and earlier life in Cyprus as well as exhibitions of shells\, flowers and butterflies. DESCRIPTION:Αφιέρωμα στο συνεχιστή της Κυπριακής \n	Παραδοσιακής Μουσικής Γεώργιο Ορθοδόξου\n	\n	Μουσικό αφιέρωμα στο συνεχιστή της Κυπριακής δημοτικής μας μουσικής\, Γεώργιο Ορθοδόξου από την Αραδίππου\, από τον ταπεινό συνεχιστή του Μάριο Ορθοδόξου και την αγαπημένη σε όλους μας Βασιλική Χατζηαδάμου. Το μουσικό σχήμα επιλέγει παραδοσιακά τραγούδια και σκοπούς με τα οποία ο Γεώργιος Ορθοδόξου γαλουχήθηκε\, ερμήνευσε και μετέδωσε στις επόμενες γενιές\, προσφέροντας μια μουσική βραδιά\, όπου το χθες συναντά το σήμερα\, το φωτίζει και του δίνει εχέγγυα συνεχούς εξέλιξης. Παραδοσιακά τραγούδια και σκοπούς τα οποία ακούσαμε και από τον Γεώργιο Ορθοδόξου ως συνέχεια της παράδοσής μας\, αλλά και που συναντούμε στον ευρύτερο Ελλαδικό χώρο. Μουσικές οι οποίες ταξίδευαν και συντρόφευαν τους Κύπριους\, εξ όσων μπορούμε να αποδείξουμε βάσει αρχειακού – γραπτού και ηχητικού – υλικού\, από τις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα.
