\nIn the \u2018Cyprophonia 2\u2019 concerts series, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is delighted to welcome maestro Marco Parisotto to the podium to present a programme that combines Cypriot talent and classical brilliance!
\nThe orchestra will perform the world premiere of a fascinating new work by Cypriot composer Georgios Stavrou, commissioned by the CySO Foundation. The piece, titled Erum<\/em> for orchestra, is described as \u2018an internal attempt to Tuning<\/em>, in order to move to that dimension\u2019.
\nThe concert also features Ravel\u2019s Piano Concerto in G major, to be performed by the rising young Cypriot pianist Christos Fountos, in his debut with the orchestra. This demanding concerto is a blend of exuberance and sophistication, displaying the composer’s genius in crafting melodies.
\nThe programme will conclude with a timeless masterpiece, Beethoven’s \u2018Pastoral\u2019 Symphony, a musical journey through the evocation of lush countryside.
