The Pasta Event \u00a8PASTA FLAVORS\u00a8 has been organized during the last years as part of the
\n\u00a8Art and Culture Festival\u00a8 of Agios Theodoros Larnakas.
\n 
\nThe Festival lasts three days and includes:<\/strong>
\nFirst day: It is dedicated to the Cypriot Tradition, emphasis is placed on tasting of
\ntraditional products.
\nSecond day: Concert by popular Greek singers
\nThird day: Theater by the \u201cPentaschino\u201d folklore group of our community.
\n 
\nThe women of the community work voluntarily for the pasta event. They make the traditional pasta: \u201cMakaronia tou Sklinitziou\u201d or \u201cMakaronia tis Smilas\u201d are a type of dried pasta made by mixing durum wheat flour with a little salt and water, and\/or by mixing another type of flour with semolina, salt and water. Olive oil may also be used in the preparation of the product. \u03a4he \u201cMakaronia tou Sklinitziou\u201d or \u201cMakaronia tis Smilas\u201d are registration of a name by European Parliament and of the Council on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs in 2022.

\nThe event includes:<\/strong>
\nHomemade Pasta Demonstration and Tasting: The visitor has the opportunity to make and taste this traditional pasta. Also, visitors can taste traditional yeast bread or buy traditional Cypriot products.
\nVegan Food Demonstration and Tasting
\nTraditional Cypriot Dances by \u201cPentaschinos\u201d Folklore Club
\nTraditional Cypriot Music and Songs by Michalis Chatzimichail, Antri Karantoni, Demetra
\nChatzimichail and Irene Pelagia. Violin: Savvas Stephanou.<\/p>\n
