SUMMARY:Symplexis
DESCRIPTION:Tradition is the inspiration behind the development of these exhibitions in the villages of Fiti\, Kissonerga and Mesogi in Pafos District. Through the collaboration with these communities the artists aim to create a bond(symplexi) between tradition and modern art\, by using the traditional material and techniques of basket weaving\, silk production and handloom fabrics. The exhibition is in three parts\, each developed in one of these communities\, with the expectation to promote the community’s wealth-cultural tradition.
