DESCRIPTION:The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and Theater One announce the start of the Summer Screening Marathon 2025\, which takes place\, like every summer\, at the Nicosia “Constantia” Open Air Cinema. \nUnder the summer sky of the capital and with the nostalgic atmosphere of the open-air cinema\, we return on Wednesday\, July 9. The Summer Screening Marathon is revived at the “Constantia” Open-air Cinema\, one of the most beautiful old cinemas in Nicosia\, remaining\, for 26 years\, one of the most important cinema institutions in the state. The institution is distinguished both in terms of film education and in the upgrading of the social and cultural life of the place. \nWith the stars and the summer moon in their company\, and with a focus on quality\, expanding the audience’s film literacy\, and entertainment\, the viewer will have the opportunity to watch a unique cultural mosaic from all corners of the earth\, with films that have won major awards. \nFor the detailed programme please click here. \nINFORMATION: \nScreenings will take place every Wednesday\, Thursday\, Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, from July 9\, 2025\, until September 7\, 2025\, at 21:00.Special screening on Tuesday\, July 15\, 2025. \nTicket price: €5. \nTicket sales: At the Konstantia Cinema Theatre on screening days from 19:30 to 21:00.Ticket reservations: Call 22348203. \nReserved tickets will be held until 15 minutes before the screening starts. DESCRIPTION:The Lemesos International Documentary Festival prepares to celebrate its twentieth edition the first week of August\, which marks twenty years of creative documentaries\, captivating images\, profound human stories and cinematic explorations. \nΤhe 20th edition of Lemesos International Documentary Festival unspools 1 – 8 August 2025\, at Ceronia Hall – Lanitis Carob Mill\, in the old town of Limassol\, next to the Medieval Castle of the city. \nThe programme comprises of multi-award-winning films by acclaimed directors\, emerging international talent and Cypriot filmmakers. Driven by their immersive gaze\, the Festival is screening 24 documentaries this year – all Cyprus premieres.
