Lycourgos\, 20:30\n	Within the framework of the Larnaka Municipality Festival of Classical Music\n	 \n	PROGRAMME\n	Tasos Stylianou: Green line\n	Narongrit Dhamabutra: Saxophone concerto [European Premiere]\n	Ludwig van Beethoven: The Creatures of Prometheus\, op. 43 (suite)\n	 \n	Theodore Kerkezos saxophone\n	Cyprus Symphony Orchestra\n	Charles Olivieri-Munroe\n	 \n	The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra\, under the baton of the charismatic maestro Charles Olivieri-Munroe\, is delighted to give the European premiere of the sparkling Saxophone Concerto by Narongrit Dhamabutra – Thailand’s most renowned classical music composer – featuring the Greek saxophone virtuoso Theodore Kerkezos as the soloist. The programme also includes Green Line by Cypriot composer Tasos Stylianou\, where he invites the audience to listen to the countless subdivisions of the Cypriot dance\, as he has been listening to them whenever he crosses the so-called green line. These highly acclaimed and sought-after musicians are bound to mesmerize audiences performing the Cyprus premiere of Giovanni Sollima’s Tarantulae Cadenzas for cello\, violin and orchestra. György Ligeti’s Romanian Concerto by will follow\, reflecting the composer’s deep appreciation of Romanian folk melodies.
