The symphony is complemented by Tchaikovsky’s lyrical and virtuosic Violin concerto\, featuring CySO’s Concertmaster Wolfgang Schröder as the soloist. Pēteris Vasks’s impressive\, sentimental work Musica Serena for string orchestra will also receive its Cyprus premiere. One of the most anticipated events in the international music calendar\, for over two decades\, the Festival has hosted a multitude of memorable concerts\, featuring many of the world’s most celebrated soloists.
