DESCRIPTION:To conduct the PREMIERE 5 concerts\, the Orchestra is delighted to welcome on the podium the hugely talented Polish maestro Kinga Glowacka\, winner of the CySO International Conducting Masterclass and Competition last year. The programme combines two supreme romantic gems by Edward Elgar and Johannes Brahms to nurture your soul! \nElgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor\, is a masterpiece that captivates with its profound emotion and subtle complexity. Composed in the aftermath of World War I\, it reflects Elgar’s deep personal introspection and is filled with a rich\, haunting tone\, and moments of intense drama.
