In this programme\, the CySO Piano Quartet contrast the French refined elegance of Gabriel Faure with the characteristic German passion and drama of Johannes Brahms. \nFauré’s Piano quartet no. 1 in C minor\, blends luminous charm with quiet emotional depth\, profuse with glowing harmonies and great melodic subtlety.
