SUMMARY:Blunefe (In the framework of the 17th Cyprus Rialto World Music Festival)
DESCRIPTION:Blunefé is a duet based in Cyprus\, formed by Andreas Andreou (oud) and Christos Yerolatsitis (piano) in 2020. The name of the duo comes from the blendingof two different musical scenes that each separately has the ability to combineand balance elements from various music genres.\n	A word game between “Blues” and “Künefe” showcases the musicians’ open minds and ability to mix elements from Blues\, Jazz and the music traditions of the Eastern Mediterraneanregion. The band’s sound balances between the West and the East\, in the same way that sour cheese blends\n	with the sweet sugar syrup found in the well-known Künefedessert.\n	 \n	The repertoire primarily includes original music\, composed by the main group members Christos Yerolatsitis and Andreas Andreou.\n	 \n	Andreas Andreou: oud\n	Christos Yerolatsitis: piano\n	Nicolas Tryphonos: double bass\n	Omiros Miltiadous: drums  \n\n	\n	 Venue:  \n\n	Parking Place of SΕΚ (Behind of the Rialto Theatre) \n	Kyriakou Economou 21\, 3040 Limassol\n	Phone number: 77777745\n	Fax No.: 25749663\n	Website: www.rialto.com.cy \n	Start date/End date:  22 July 2022 \n	Start time/End time:  21:00-22:30 \n	Entrance Price/Τicket: €5 (Free entry for musicians\, pupils & students) \n	  \n\n	  \n\n	\n	    \n	  \nRialto Theatre\nTelephone No.: +357 25343902\nE-mail: niki@rialto.com.cy

DESCRIPTION:120’\, Spain\, 2021\n	 \n	Two single mothers give birth on the same day. He arrived in Madrid in 1968\, and survived by selling used items in the flea-market called El Rastro. Almodóvar couldn’t study filmmaking because he didn’t have the money to afford it. Besides\, the filmmaking schools were closed in early 70s by Franco’s government. Instead\, he found a job in the Spanish phone company and saved his salary to buy a Super 8 camera. From 1972 to 1978\, he devoted himself to make short films with the help of of his friends. The “premieres” of those early films were famous in the rapidly growing world of the Spanish counter-culture. In few years\, Almodóvar became a star of “La Movida”\, the pop cultural movement of late 70s Madrid. His first feature film\, Pepi\, Luci\, Bom and Other Girls Like Mom (1980)\, was made in 16 mm and blown-up to 35 mm for public release. In 1987\, he and his brother Agustín Almodóvar established their own production company: El Deseo\, S. A. The “Almodóvar phenomenon” has reached all over the world\, making his films very popular in many countries.\n	   \n\n\n The screening is part of the Rialto Summer Cinema\n\n\n	All films of Rialto Summer Cinema will be screened in the original language of production\, with greek and english subtitles.  \n\n	  \n\n	Venue: \n	Parking Place of SΕΚ (Behind of the Rialto Theatre) \n	Kyriakou Economou 21\, 3040 Limassol\n	Phone number: 77777745\n	Fax No.: 25749663\n	Website: www.rialto.com.cy \n	Start date/End date:  19 July 2022 \n	Start time/End time:  21:00-23:00   \n	Entrance Price/Τicket:  €8  \n	  \n\n	  \n\n	\n	    \n	  \nRialto Theatre\nTelephone No.: +357 25343902\nE-mail: niki@rialto.com.cy

SUMMARY:Another round (In the framework of the Rialto Summer Cinema)
DESCRIPTION:Rialto’s Summer Cinema returns with great films and magical summery nights\n	 \n	Outdoor cinema of Rialto Theatrereturns to cool off our summer nights. After its great success of previous years\, Rialto’s open-air cinema is back with a diverse range of  awarded and recent films from Denmark\, Sweden\, France\, Spain\, Argentina\, and a co-production of Cyprus\, Greece and Italy.\n	 \n	Films filled with originality\, tenderness and humour which focus on human relationships and the complexity that determines them\, will offer us a delightful escape to the world of cinema.\n	 \n	This year’s line-up includes six recent films that stood out and received a great audience appeal. Each and every one deals with a fascinating story and is created by a well-known and highly admired director.  \n	117’\, Denmark\, 2020\n	A group of friends\, all high-school teachers\, decide to start drinking during the workday. They all embark on an experiment of keeping a constant low rate of alcohol in their bloodstream\, in order to prove that modest inebriation opens our minds to the world\, diminishes our problems and increases our creativity. While for some of them the experiment works wonders\, some others go off the rails.\n	 \n	Screenplay: Thomas Vinterberg\, Tobias Lindholm\n	Directing: Thomas Vinterberg\n	Cast: Mads Mikkelsen\, Thomas Bo Larsen\, Lars Ranthe\, Magnus Millang\, Maria Bonnevie\, Susse Wold\n	 \n	Awards:\n	Best International Feature Film\, Academy Awards\, 2021.\n	Best Foreign Film Award\, Bafta & César Awards\, 2021.\n	Best Film Award\, European Film Awards\, 2020.\n	 \n	Director’s comments about the film:\n	“We also wanted to make a movie about thinking on life\, not just being alive but living\,” says Vinterberg. “I hope it has become a celebration of life. I lost my daughter while making this film [19-year-old Ida died in a car accident in Belgium during the first week of the shoot]. It was nightmarish\, it will always be.\n	“The only reason I could continue making this movie was because a couple of months prior to her death\, she sent me a letter talking about how much she loved this project. And she was a pretty tough judge. The only possibility of continuing with this movie was by making it more than just a funny alcoholic story\, it had to be about being alive.”\n	The somewhat surprising best director nominations mean a lot to Vinterberg\, especially because Another Round is a film he so closely associates with Ida. “With this particular movie\, it means a lot to me\,” he says of the nominations. “I am so proud\, and also surprised. But I realise that people see a movie about a lot more than just drinking. That was the most important thing for me and my collaborators – to elevate this project from just being a project about drinking.”\n	  \n\n\n The screening is part of the Rialto Summer Cinema\n\n\n	All films of Rialto Summer Cinema will be screened in the original language of production\, with greek and english subtitles.  \n\n	Venue:  \n\n	Parking Place of SEK (Behind of the Rialto Theatre) \n	Kyriakou Economou 21\, 3040 Limassol\n	Phone number: 77777745\n	Fax No.: 25749663\n	Website: www.rialto.com.cy \n	Start date/End date:  13 Ιουλίου 2022 \n	Start time/End time:  21:30 – 23:30 \n	Entrance Price/Τicket:  €8  \n	  \n\n	  \n\n	\n	    \n	  \nRialto Theatre\nTelephone No.: +357 25343902\nE-mail: niki@rialto.com.cy

SUMMARY:OEDIPUS TYRANT by SOPHOCLES
DESCRIPTION:Continuing the tradition of presenting plays from ancient Greek drama\, THOCpresents Sophocles’ leading tragedy Oedipus Tyrannus\, which continues to exert an irresistible fascination with its irresistible poetry\, high technique\, and profound content.\n \nThe city of Thebes is sick. Each initiative brings him one step closer to his downfall.\n \nSaviour and miasmatic\, intelligent ruler but also his father’s murderer\, a man of political conscience and defender of the interests of his afflicted people\, but also an inadvertent incestuous. DESCRIPTION:Portraits in otherness*  \nfri 20:30 (55’)\n \nPortraits in Otherness is a project that promotes artists who carry multiple identities and whose works dance on the borders of the worlds we know and those we imagine. Originally conceptualized and curated by internationally renowned choreographer and dancer Akram Khan and his creative producer Farooq Chaudhry in 2017\, Portraits in Otherness transfers a legacy built on values of international collaboration\, creative diversity and artistic hybridity to a new generation of dance artists. The programme consists of two solo works created by highly charismatic and distinctive early-career artists: Dickson Mbi and Joy Alpuerto Ritter.\n \nDUENDE by DICKSON MBI (25’)\nDeveloped over one year\, Duende represents a significant milestone in Dickson Mbi’s artistic journey. This twenty-minute solo with an original score by Roger Goula intuitively brings together memories from Dickson’s ancestral African heritage\, his elite popping skills and his training in contemporary dance. A journey\, a memory\, a reflection\, a ritual and a personal narrative\, Dickson’s Duende is a revelation of the soul\, breaking the habit of concealing what makes us who we are and finding the confidence to put our soul\, its history\, and our feelings on display. Dickson Mbi creates an otherworldly fairy tale that brings to life the emotions revealed in these moments of light.\n \nChoreographer\, Dancer: Dickson Mbi\nComposer: Roger Goula\nLighting Design: Fabiana Piccioli\n \n BABAE by JOY ALPUERTO RITTER  (30’)\n A solo work inspired by the “masterpiece of strangeness”\, Mary Wigman’s Witch Dance. Raised and classically trained in Germany\, Joy Alpuerto Ritter examines inherited vocabularies\, reconfiguring what it means to summon the power and mystical practices of woman as witch. Combining her roots in Philippine folk dance\, classical training and vocabulary of hip hop and voguing\, BABAE is a one-woman interplay between the animalistic and sensual qualities of ritual and power.\n \nChoreographer/Dancer: Joy Alpuerto Ritter\nComposer: Vicenzo Lamagna\nLighting Design: Arne Schmitt / Joy Alpuerto Ritter\nCostume Design: Lan Behrendt DYAO\nArtistic Assistant: Lukas Steltner\n \n*Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival 2022\nOrganised by: Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education\, Culture\, Sports and Youth & Rialto Theatre\nFree transportation from Nicosia to  Limassol\nDeparture from the Cyprus Handicraft Centre (Athalassa Avenue)\nDeparture time: 19:00 I Information: 99 618225 \nVenue:  \nName:  Rialto Theatre\nPostal address: Andrea Drousioti 19\, 3040 Limassol\nPhone number: 77777745\nFax: +357 25749663\nWebsite:www. rialto.com.cy\nSocial media: \nRialto FB: Rialto Theatre – ΘέατροΡιάλτο\nRialto Instagram: rialto_theatre_cyprus\nYoutube: Rialto Theatre Limassol\nTwitter: Rialto Theatre\n \nStart date/End date:  24 June 2022 \nStart time/End time:  20:30 – 22:00 \nEntrance Price/Τicket:  €8 (€ 30 for all performances) Free entrance for students\, soldiers\, pensioners and dance professionals

DESCRIPTION:Free At Last*I DANAE & DIONYSIOS\nwed 20:30 (50′)\nMystical imagery; dark atmosphere; Greek tradition deconstructed and linked with the present. An original choreography inspired by the legendary Dance of Zalongo. SUMMARY:45
DESCRIPTION:45* I POLISH DANCE THEATRE I Jacek Przybyłowicz\nwed 20:30 (45’)\n \n45 shows the story of young dancers talking about – in a symbolic dimension – the subject of a collective\, merged with teamwork\, as well as a common\, conscious decision to choose art as a way of life. The creators want to show the present being of the oldest dance theatre in Poland. The idea of 45 is to go beyond the traditional form of the choreographer’s and composer’s correlation. The travel appears as the theme of the performance – a journey as a sign of theatre\, as a search\, as a choreographic composition and an interactive invitation for the viewer in the site-specific space.\n \nThe performance was co-organized by the Institute of Music and Dance within the framework of the Choreographic Commissions 2019 Programme. \nChoreography: Jacek Przybyłowicz\nPerformers: Evelyn Blue\, Kacper Bożek\, Julia Hałka\, Agnieszka Jachym\, Patryk Jarczok\, Jerzy Kaźmierczak\, Zbigniew Kocięba\, Katarzyna Kulmińska\, Dominik Kupka\, Daniel Michna\, Katarzyna Rzetelska\, Sandra Szatan\, Emily Wong-Adryańczyk\n \n \n*Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival 2022\nOrganised by: Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education\, Culture\, Sports and Youth & Rialto Theatre\nFree transportation from Nicosia toLimassol\nDeparture from the Cyprus Handicraft Centre (Athalassa Avenue)\nDeparture time: 19:00 I Information: 99 618225  \nVenue:  \nName:  Rialto Theatre\nPostal address: Andrea Drousioti 19\, 3040 Limassol\nPhone number: 77777745\nFax: +357 25749663\nWebsite:www. rialto.com.cy\nSocial media: \nRialto FB: Rialto Theatre – ΘέατροΡιάλτο\nRialto Instagram: rialto_theatre_cyprus\nYoutube: Rialto Theatre Limassol\nTwitter: Rialto Theatre\n \nStart date/End date:  15 Ioυνίου 2022 \nStart time/End time:  20:30 – 21:30 \nEntrance Price/Τicket:  €8 (€ 30 for all performances) Free entrance for students\, soldiers\, pensioners and dance professionals

SUMMARY:Romeo\, Romeo\, Romeo
DESCRIPTION:Romeo\, Romeo\, Romeo* | JOSHUAMONTEN\nOn Stage\, wed 20:30 (60’)\nDance is a mating ritual. Even today\, in the age of online dating apps\, dance continues to play a central role in how many of us find a mate. This dance production from Switzerland for four Romeos (one of whom is performed by a woman) explores the idea of dance as a thrillingly up close and personal form of courtship. Each spectator can slip into the role of Juliet and witness the dancers’ struggles to impress: with their artistry\, charm\, athleticism and\, at times\, nothing more than naked desperation. \nChoreography: Joshua Monten\nPerformers: Léna Bagutti\, David Pallant\, Konstantinos Kranidiotis\, Jack Wignall \nLighting: Luz González\n \n*Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival 2022\nOrganised by: Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education\, Culture\, Sports and Youth & Rialto Theatre\nFree transportation from Nicosia to  Limassol\nDeparture from the Cyprus Handicraft Centre (Athalassa Avenue)\nDeparture time: 19:00 I Information: 99 618225  \nVenue:  \nName:  Rialto Theatre\nPostal address: Andrea Drousioti 19\, 3040 Limassol\nPhone number: 77777745\nFax: +357 25749663\nWebsite:www. rialto.com.cy\nSocial media: \nRialto FB: Rialto Theatre – ΘέατροΡιάλτο\nRialto Instagram: rialto_theatre_cyprus\nYoutube: Rialto Theatre Limassol\nTwitter: Rialto Theatre\n \nStart date/End date:   8 Ioυνίου 2022 \nStart time/End time:  20:30-21:30 \nEntrance Price/Τicket:  € 8 (€ 30 for all performances) Free entrance for students\, soldiers\, pensioners and dance professionals

SUMMARY:Animale
DESCRIPTION:ANIMALE*I FRANCESCA FOSCARINI / COSIMO LOPALCO\nsun 20:30 (40’)\n \nThe solo master piece from Italy (Danza&Danza prize 2018) was presented at La Biennale Venezia 2018\, and itis inspired by the painter Antonio Ligabue and his extraordinary visions of the natural world. Animale brings to the stage\, in the words of John Berger\, a frightfully indifferent nature\, made of energy and combat\, that exists without promising anything\, where life’s first need is shelter\, its first prayer an appeal for protection\, its first sign of life pain. It is in this desolate context that we find beauty\, and the discovery is sudden\, unpredictable.\n“Francesca Foscarini has created\, with Animale\, a small masterpiece of choreography. She uses the French dancer to fashion a powerful map of signs both physical and poetic\, to evoke worlds both human and animal (“nature is… fearsomely indifferent” to quote John Berger) in a continuous symbiotic metamorphosis\, in order to get closer to knowing the animal world.” Giuseppe Distefano\, Artribune \nChoreography: Francesca Foscarini\nDramaturgy: Cosimo Lopalco\nPerformed by: Romain Guion \n*Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival 2022\nOrganised by: Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education\, Culture\, Sports and Youth & Rialto Theatre\nFree transportation from Nicosia to  Limassol\nDeparture from the Cyprus Handicraft Centre (Athalassa Avenue)\nDeparture time: 19:00 I Information: 99 618225  \nVenue:  \nName:  Rialto Theatre\nPostal address: Andrea Drousioti 19\, 3040 Limassol\nPhone number: 77777745\nFax: +357 25749663\nWebsite:www. rialto.com.cy\nSocial media: \nRialto FB: Rialto Theatre – ΘέατροΡιάλτο\nRialto Instagram: rialto_theatre_cyprus\nYoutube: Rialto Theatre Limassol\nTwitter: Rialto Theatre\n \nStart date/End date:   5 Ioυνίου 2022 \nStart time/End time:  20:30 – 21:30 \nEntrance Price/Τicket:  € 8 (€ 30 for all performances) Free entrance for students\, soldiers\, pensioners and dance professionals

She studied Fine Arts at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts\, where from she graduated with distinction in 2001.\n\n	 \n\n	In 2002 she entered in the Complutense University of Madrid\, and followed a Masters course titled Theory and Practice of the Contemporary Art.\n\n	In 2006 she was accepted at a PhD programme of the same University under the general title “drawing and engraving\, teaching and creativity”. She has successfully finished its first part with her thesis: “Self portrait: the Art to share Intimacy”.\n\n	Terms as Intimacy\, Private and Personal as well as their role in the artistic creation\, are questions that preoccupy her both in her artistic and theoretical research.\n\n	Nicoletta has presented three solo exhibitions in Cyprus and two solo presentations in Madrid and has presented her work in Florence\, Madrid\, Barcelona and Berlin\, as well as in many group exhibitions in Cyprus.\n\n	 \n\n	Chloe Finn\n\n	Chloe Finn was born in Thessaloniki in 1989 to a Greek mother and an Australian father. She studied Product Design in Central St.Martins\, London and has worked in a variety of arts and crafts. Her works are on-location illustrations\, from real places she meets in her travels\, cities she visits and houses and interiors that inspire her. Her passion for capturing landscapes led her to collaborate with various groups\, environmental and cultural organizations\, creating images\, graphics and illustrating children’s books.\n\n	She has been living and working in Cyprus for the last four years\, dealing with artist groups\, workshops and social projects.\n\n	 \n\n	 \n\n	Michalis Charalambous\, born in 1987\, is a Visual Artist.  Michalis’ practice includes ceramic\, filmmaking and painting. He graduated from the Fine Arts School of Visual and Applied Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013. His Master dissertation (MA\, Open University of Cyprus\, 2019) focuses on the activity and influence of independent Artist-Run spaces in Cyprus. He has participated in national and international festivals and exhibitions like the 16th Venice Biennale of Architecture (Cyprus Pavilion\, 2018)\, the 6th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017\, “Imagined Homes”)\,  the special screening program at 58th  Thessaloniki International film Festival\,  the Athens Ethnographic Film Festival (2016) with the documentary “Anamones” and the PAFOS 2017 group exhibition “Weaving Europe”. Finally\, he has been hosted in artist residencies in Lecce/ Puglia\, IT (BJCEM\, “LandXcape”) and in Barcelona\, SP (Can Serrat).\n\n	Through his practice\, Michalis Charalambous explores the boundaries between space\, body\, object and identity in our time using digital technology and traditional media. He examines the contradictory terms of analogue and digital\, physical and virtual environment\, material and intangible. His work aims to interpret a non-specific context defined by symbolism. It suggests different ways of touching a vessel to interpret the interaction between the meta-human\, the object and the space. \n\n	His artistic practice takes references from ancient vessels dating to different historical cultures which\, blended with poetic narratives\, sculptural practices and 3d modeling lead to new\, hybrid forms. At the same time\, Michalis makes use of the method of “still life photography” as a mean of alternative interpretation and approach concerning the context of an image. In this context\, photography operates as a medium associated to cultural and political significances rather than an ordinary scientific tool.\n\n	 \n\n	 \n\n	Book your participation by sending us an email at phaneromenis70center1@gmail.com or by calling us here 22663320 \n

Lycourgos\, 16:00\nPafos: Sunday 29 May 2022\, Markideio Municipal Theatre\, 16:00\n \nThe Cyprus Symphony Orchestra collaborates with music pedagogue Christina Charalambidou to present the symphonic version of the musical story “Kiki in America” in five unique performances! The protagonist of the story is an adventurous chicklet named Kiki\, which will come to life through storytelling\, projected illustrations and live music.\n \nKiki makes a journey in America which starts from San Francisco\, passes through the Grand Canyon and ends in New York City – the “Big Apple”! During her trip\, Kiki will discover music by American and European composers inspired by the natural beauty of America\, melodies of Native Americans and Afroamericans\, Latin music and Jazz. Moreover\, the work “New York Suite” by Cypriot composer Tasos Stylianou that has been specially commissioned for this programme by the CySO Foundation\, will embody the sounds of New York!\n \nThese family – educational concerts include interactive musical activities between the musicians\, the music educators and the children. A brief workshop will follow where the children will have the opportunity to try some of the instruments of the orchestra.\n \nThe main goal of the concerts and workshops is to promote musical exposition and education of children from the early years of their life.Specifically\, they aim to introduce children to classical and jazz music\, the instruments of the symphony orchestra and cultivate their musicality in creative ways. The children will have the opportunity to experience music through emotional expression\, movement\, language\, the use of imagination and creation of their own drawings. The philosophy of the educational family concerts derives from the idea that “Creative adults come from creative children\, and only a creative society can change the world creatively” (E. Barkin). \n \nConcert duration: 50’\nWorkshop duration: 30’ \n \nΜusical excerpts and songs:\nAntonin Dvořák: “New World” Symphony\, excerpt from the 1st movt.\nAaron Copland: Appalachian Spring\, excerpt \nLeonard Bernstein: songs from West side story\nDuke Ellington: “C-Jam Blues” and “Take the ‘A’ train”\, orchestration: Tasos Stylianou \nLouis Armstrong: “What a Wonderful World”\nTasos Stylianou: “New York Suite” – Special commission by the CySOF\, Cyprus premiere\n \nProgramme Creator – Music Educator: Christina Charalambidou\n \nIllustrations: Anna Stylianidou\nNarration: Sophie Lambrou\nJazz musicians: Ioanna Troullidou (voice)\, Charis Ioannou (saxophone)\, Μarios Toumbas (piano)\n    \nConductor: Petros Stylianou\n \nSupporters:Larnaka Municipality\, Pafos Municipality\nGrand Sponsor: OPAP Cyprus\n \nTicket price: €7 for all\nFree entrance for people with disabilities. \n \nTicket presales:\nLemesos concert: Online at www.soldoutticketbox.com\, at the Box Office: Mon-Fri: 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:00 and before the concert.\nLefkosia\, Larnaka and Pafos concerts: Onlineat www.cyso.org.cyand at the Box Office every Wednesday 16:00-19:00 and 2 hrs before the concert.\n \nInformation: 22 463144\, www.cyso.org.cy\n \n \nFor more information you may contact Constantia Elia at 22 463135\, email: c.elia@cyso.org.cy

SUMMARY:Welcome Maestro Neuhold - CYSO
DESCRIPTION: \nThe Cyprus Symphony Orchestra welcomes on stage its new Artistic Director and Conductor\, Gϋnter Neuhold! In their first concert together\, they will present two masterful symphonies: Mozart’s Symphony no. 35\, known as the Haffner Symphony\, and Tchaikovsky’s 5th.\n \nThe Haffner Symphony\, composed in 1782\, typifies the late symphonies of Mozart in their ambitious dimensions\, greater demands on performers\, harmonic and contrapuntal complexity\, and final movements that are climactic rather than light. One is struck by the wide range of emotions and styles permeating the score.\n \nTchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphonywas written in 1888\, at a time when his international reputation had already grown considerably. A central motive representing Fate runs through the entire symphony\, and appears in the major key in the long coda of the finale\, thus evoking a triumphant mood.\n \nWolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony no. 35 in D major\, K. 385\,“Haffner”\nPyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphony no. 5 in E minor\, op. 64\n \nConductor: Gϋnter Neuhold \nLefkosia: Thursday 5 May 2022\nNicosia Municipal Theatre\, 20:30\n \nEntrance: FREE\n \nInformation: 22 463144\, www.cyso.org.cy\n \n  \nFor more information you may contact Constantia Elia at 22 463135\, email: c.elia@cyso.org.cy

SUMMARY:What the Butler Saw
DESCRIPTION:What the Butler Saw\, is an intensely funny farce set in the sexually charged private clinic of psychiatrist\, Dr. Prentice.\n As the play opens\, Dr. Prentice is interviewing the young\, attractive Geraldine Barclay to be his new secretary. During her brief interview\, she reveals that she has recently lost her adoptive mother after a gas explosion\, and does not know the true parentage of either of her parents. Unbeknownst to Geraldine\, Dr. Prentice is also doing his best to seduce her but his efforts are thwarted throughout the course of the day.\n As Geraldine undresses behind a screen (as part of Dr. Prentice’s “examination”)\, the psychiatrist’s wife\, Mrs. Prentice\, interrupts them\, dressed only in her underwear. While Geraldine is concealed\, it emerges that Mrs. Prentice is being blackmailed by a young bellboy named Nicholas Beckett\, after spending the night with him at the Station Hotel.\n To avoid scandal\, she promises the post of secretary to Beckett\, unaware that her husband is interviewing Geraldine for the same position. Mayhem ensues as Geraldine\, Beckett\, and a local policeman\, Sergeant Match\, all disrobe and swap clothes as Dr. Prentice attempts to keep some sort of order in his chaotic clinic. Dr. Rance\, a crazed psychiatrist\, comes to the clinic in the midst of the chaos to carry out a government inspection. As he diagnoses madness all round\, and subsequently tries to section most of those present\, the truth about Geraldine and Nicholas Beckett’s parentage is revealed.\n Both Geraldine and Nicholas reveal halves of a locket that was given to them by their birth mother before she abandoned them. Mrs. Prentice recognizes the locket\, revealing that she was seduced in a closet at the Station Hotel\, while working as a chambermaid shortly before her marriage. Dr. Prentice then reveals that the locket was originally his and given to the woman whom he also seduced before his marriage. Realizing their pre-marital liaison\, the couple are amazed\, yet strangely delighted\, by their incestuous behavior towards their newly discovered children. The strange group leave the clinic\, bedraggled and disrobed\, to face the world together. \n *suitable for people over 15 years old\n		 \n Translation: Andreas Christodoulidis\, Maria Karsera\n Director / Lighting design: Andreas Christodoulidis\n Sets / Costumes: Maria Chatzikleanthous\n Assistant director: Eleni Anastasiou\n Photography: Dimitris Vattis\n Poster design: Giannos Christoforou\n Playing (in order of appearance): Myria Argyrou\, Sotiris Mestanas Angelina Mitka\, Antonis Parkharidis\, Michalis Christou\, Nektarios Loizidis \n Venue: \n Theatro Ena\n Postal address: 4 Athinas Avenue\, 1016 Lefkosia\n Phone number: +357 22348203\n Website: www.theatroena.com.cy\n Social media: https://www.facebook.com/theatroena\n https://www.instagram.com/theatroena/?hl=el \n Start date/End date:   04/05/2022 – 21/05/2022 \n Start time/End time:  Every Friday\, Saturday at 20:30 and every Sunday at 19:00 \n Entrance Price/Τicket:  €15 & €10 \n		  \n\nOrganiser Contact Details \nName: Theatro ena\nTelephone: 22348203\nEmail: theatroena@cytanet.com.cy\nPostal Address: 4 Athinas Avenue\, 1016 Lefkosia
