DESCRIPTION: Tris Elies village celebrate the ‘cherazi’! The cherry tree has supported our village and defined its landscape. This is worth celebrating! Celebrating we help keep our place alive\, supporting local growers\, while also honoring our grandparents and (mostly) our grandmothers and the history of cherry growing in our area. \n\n	 Celebrate with us with creative workshops\, shadow theatre\, book reading\, photo exhibition\, traditional dances\, songs and a feast! \n	 \n\n	Meet growers\, housewives\, artisans\, creators at the Outdoor Market and ask them about their craft. \n\n	 Put it on your schedule and take a walk on the trail with the bridges. Walk along the Cold River and the Dragon and see the cherry trees\, the dry rock fields\, the river vegetation\, the ruins of the small church of Saint Andronikos and…  If you’re coming from the morning and want to join the ‘colours from nature’ workshop\, reserve your spot at Rhus&parus. \n	 \n\n	For breakfast and until noon the traditional cafe ‘ will be open.. In the evening\, other fine foods will also be available\, at the school premises. \n\n	We respect the environment and rely on your own cooperation to be able to do so during the celebration. Bring your company together (less cars\, less pollution)\, park far away\, use recycle bins\, prefer running cool tap water that ‘opens at stone footprint’..\n\n	\n	If in the evening you are very tired and did not find a room in one of the village lodges\, \, set a tent in the area we prepared for you next to the school. SUMMARY:A Taste of Culture. Music and Dancing Festival
DESCRIPTION:“Taste of Culture- Music& Dance Festival” is a unique cultural experience inspired by the folklore festivals of local communities of Rural Nicosia\, which aims to highlight the special characteristics of the area. The festival is an inspiration of the Cultural and Sports Association\, PAOK-Klirou which in collaboration with four other Communities of the region will present in the Klirou Square a unique program with emphasis on Cypriot traditional dance and folk tradition. Five Bands\, 100 dancers and musicians will revive through dance both the agricultural activities and the social habits of the different generations of the local communities. At the same time\, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Folk Art workshops which will present traditional professions by Craftsmen such as wood carving\, making a toned chair and mats\, and an embroidery demonstration with a chisel. At the same time\, visitors will experience Cypriot delicacies of local wine and gastronomic products with the local producers of Zivana with on-site distillation\, on the spot production of Halloumi\, Trachana and Lokmas as well as other delicacies such as Cypriot pastelaki and traditional Siousioukko. The traditional “Kleftiko” of the area will be sold at the place as well as other choices of food\, sweets and drinks. \n		At the peak of the Festival\, the music band “ANTAMA” will perform a special program based on Cypriot poems and songs encouraging both local and foreigner visitors to experience group dancing. \n		Venue: \n		Central Square of Klirou\n		Postal address: Arch.
