Η μουσική τους είναι ποικιλόμορφη\, έντονη\, πλούσια σε ανατροπές και μετατρέπεται από λυρική σε ασυγκράτητη\, από άγρια σε χαριτωμένη\, από βιρτουόζικη και κρυστάλλινη σε διεκδικητική και δραματική\, από μαλακή και χαμηλών τόνων σε αεράτη και διαχυτική.\n \nΤο Φεστιβάλ θα κλείσει το κυπριακό Τρίο του Οδυσσέα Τουμάζου\, το οποίο ολοκλήρωσε\, το 2019 την ηχογράφηση του πρώτου του στούντιο άλμπουμ “Ensticto”. Το έργο του έχει χαρακτηριστεί «πραγματικά αυθεντικό και ισχυρό\, με προσωπικό ήχο μέσα σε ένα καθαρά τρίο κιθάρας». SUMMARY:13th Pancyprian Cultural Watermelon Festival
DESCRIPTION:After the postponements of the last years due to the coronavirus pandemic\, the Community Council of Frenaros returns dynamically with the organization of the 13th   Pancyprian Cultural Watermelon Festival. The festival is scheduled for July 08\, 2022\, at 8:15pm at the Community Stadium of Frenaros.\n \nAmong the goals of the festival\, apart from the promotion of watermelon cultivation\, is the promotion of products based on watermelon\, such as watermelon sweets\, watermelon ice cream and watermelon cocktails\, as well as the creation of new and original gastronomic recipes.  With the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and in association with the Cyprus Chef’s Association we organize a specialized workshop for professional chefs and restaurateurs\, on the subject of “Watermelon Gastronomy”. The aim of these workshops is to include these new and original recipes in special menus for the summer season in restaurants. The workshop will take place at the Cyprus Millers Academy (Hadjigiorkis Flourmill) on July 6 2022 from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM.\n \nDuring the Festival\, the visitor will taste sweet watermelon\, watermelon ice cream as well as watermelon cocktails. With the participation of all the organized groups of our community\, the visitor will have the opportunity to get to know traditional professions\, such as the preparation of traditional red-haired halloumi and the construction of traditional chairs. The Tenth Anniversary: the festival has been waiting long enough to return to the village and host an entire community of music-lovers open to uncovering new encounters\, new boundary-testers\, and new communities. \nFengaros Festival 2022 has high expectations for its tenth edition\, providing a lineup of more than forty international and local acts to perform on stages dotted across the village – including in secret locations. The festival is known for its eclecticism – be sure to expect an exhilarating three days of boundary-pushing pop\, hard and heavy rock sets\, intimate folk melodies and night-long electronic music\, plus brand new\, yet-to-be-discovered local acts sure to delight all audiences. Greek electro-pop sweetheart Marina Satti\, fresh off a feat of worldwide wins including marking herself as Greece’s only-ever artist to have appeared on KEXP\, COLORS and NOWNESS is returning for the celebrations. Nightstalker\, one of Europe’s oldest and most legendary heavy\, psychedelic rock bands will also headline Fengaros. London darlings of post-punk\, Electric Litany have also been announced while beloved Greek folk-rock poet Pavlos Pavlidis & Hotel Alaska will close off the mainstage on the festival’s final evening. France-based Siberian\, Russian and Ukrainian synth alchemist Citron Sucré will also join the anniversary celebrations\, while other names include the wild and free dynamite pop artist Larry Gus\, ethno bass band Oratnitza with their twist on Bulgarian folk music\, Balkan rock monsters BAiLDSA\, legendary Greek producer and violinist Fotis Siotas\, along with Cypriot local groove-setters and atmospheric synth connoisseurs Inal Bilsel\, plus celestial and shimmery pop outfit Freedom Candlemaker\, as just some of the festival lineup acts performing on stages across the village. \nFengaros is known for combining top-notch music with the jaw-droppingly breathtaking scenery of a traditional Cypriot village where festival-goers can explore and camp underneath the stars of the summer night sky\, creating the ultimate festival experience unlike anything else on the island.
