DESCRIPTION:Get some exercise at the weekend   \nExplore the paths of the Cyprus countryside   \nMeet people and make new friends.   \n\nThe Cyprus Strollers (http://cyprus-strollers.org) is organizing a hike in nature every weekend\, from October to May.\nThe Cyprus Strollers welcome individuals and families (children and dogs welcome as well) living in Cyprus\, irrespective of nationality\, and equally visitors and tourists\, who love nature and search for hiking opportunities during their stay.\nThe schedule for January through May is confirmed (http://cyprus-strollers.org/activities-schedule/). The Cyprus Strollers is a unique hiking club\, broad reaching\, with a dedicated website in English. It is offering walks mainly of moderate duration (2 1/2 -3 1/2 hours)\, suitable for families\, hikers and nature lovers with an average fitness and an appetite to discover the natural beauties of Cyprus. Each walk announcement includes reference to the degree of difficulty. DESCRIPTION:Open Sports Festival\, is a Corporate Sport Festival in Cyprus\, which is held annually in Limassol\, and attracts over 50 companies from Cyprus and abroad from various sectors such as Forex\, IT\, Financial Services\, Shipping\, Marketing\, Hospitality\, Energy and compete in a day full of energy and fun. \nOpen Sports Festivaloffers a range of games in 14 categories for all athletic levels and ages\, including Football\, Volleyball\, Tug of war\, Backgammon\, 3on3 Basketball\, Fifa Playstation\, and more. In addition to the games\, the side activities such as Free Zumba classes\, street food stands\, ice-cold beer\, and DJs add a festive note to the day.\nAll the games will take place simultaneously\, and your company can participate in any of the 14 sports categories without a minimum number of participants required to be  registered. \nThe Event will conclude with the Awards Ceremony where trophies\, medals\, and certificates will be awarded to the winning and participating organisations.\nThe festival will be hosted in the modern sports facilities of Heritage Private School in Limassol\, it is scheduled for 18-20 October 2024 and is expected to welcome around 1\,500 professionals from Cyprus and abroad.\n \nOur recent event\, Open Sports 2023\, took place in October 2023 and was a great success\, as it welcomed 1\,000+ professionalsfrom 30+ companies. DESCRIPTION:WIP24: De-Clouding Art & Technology in the Heart of Nicosia \nThe WIP (Work in Progress) Arts & Technology Festival returns for its fourth edition from the 18th to 27th of October\, 2024\, turning the old city of Nicosia into a dynamic space of creativity\, technology\, and innovation. Following the success of previous years\, WIP24 promises a unique experience where art\, technology\, and innovation come together to explore the challenges and opportunities of our present and future. \nThis year’s theme\, de____cloud\, reflects the tension between two perspectives: the Symbiocene\, which imagines a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature\, and Hyperreality\, a concept from Jean Baudrillard that questions the blurred lines between reality and simulation. Through this theme\, the festival investigates the complexities of our techno-driven present while seeking to clear the beclouded visions of our potential futures. \nHosted at the newly renovated Old Municipal Market\, which now houses the CYENS Centre of Excellence\, WIP24 makes use of this unique venue to bring together artists from around the world who utilize new technologies to challenge the boundaries of reality. \nA Platform for Exchange and Exploration \nWIP24 offers a wide range of activities\, including exhibitions\, workshops\, talks\, and performances\, providing a platform for dialogue between artists\, scientists\, technologists\, and the public.
