Founded in 2023\, the Quartet quickly established itself as one of the leading ensembles on the island. Uniting different cultures\, the Quartet’s aim is to present very diverse repertoire\, ranging from the Baroque to avant-garde music. \nIn this concert they will take us one a journey from the timeless spirituality and charm of Bach’s Chorales\, to Shostakovich’s grand Quartet no. 12\, a personal emotional tribute “to the victims of fascism and war”\, and the flowing melodic invention of Dvořák’s “American” quartet.
