The European Karate Championships are the most official continental championship of the European Karate Federation https://2022.europeankaratefederation.net/
and it is carried out only once a year. Only one athlete in each age and competition category participates in the two disciplines(Kumite, Kata). In the European Karate Championship in Larnaca 3-5/2/23, 48 countries take part including Cyprus with 1136 female and male athletes.
