World Apnea Championships 2026 – 27.9-10.10.2026

The World Apnea Championships 2026, the 37th AIDA World Championships, will take placein Limassol, Cyprus, from 27 September to 10  October 2026.

Returning to Cyprus for the fifth time, this prestigious international event highlights Limassol as one of the world’s premier freediving destinations. With its crystal-clear waters, excellent visibility, and warm, calm sea conditions, the region provides an ideal natural
environment for deep diving and high-level competition.

The Championships are expected to attract the world’s top freedivers, including leading athletes such as Alexey Molchanov, Petar Klovar and Zsofia Torocsik along with a global audience of teams, officials, and supporters.
