cyprus convention bureau

The Cyprus Convention Bureau promotes Cyprus as a conference tourism destination, provides information and incentives for the organisation of conferences, meetings, events and incentive trips in Cyprus and receives related requests which are forwarded to CCB members.

The CCB operates based on a Code of Ethics, the purpose of which is to provide its members with guidance regarding the obligations required by the Legislation and Regulations of the European Union so that they contribute the most to the promotion of Cyprus as an ideal destination for conference tourism and incentives travel, as well as the encouragement of professionals in the sector to continuously improve their operations.

Members of the CCB are currently hotels with conference facilities and local travel agencies that offer professional services for the organisation of conferences and incentive trips in Cyprus as Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and/or Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs). All CCB members must meet the required qualitative and quantitative criteria, as decided by the CCB Advisory Committee, which is made up of the Cyprus Hotel Association, ACTE, ACTA and CIMA and is coordinated by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
