Applications are invited for the position of a Sales and Marketing Officer at the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism Office, in Frankfurt, according to the Guidelines for the Employment and the Terms of Service of Local Staff of Overseas Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Cyprus.
Gross Monthly Salary: €3.100, with an additional 13th salary payment.
Scope of work:
The position involves the promotion of Cyprus’s tourism product to both trade partners and the general public in Germany and Austria. Responsibilities include organizing and executing promotional activities, conducting sales calls, arranging familiarization trips, providing information, representing Cyprus at trade fairs and exhibitions etc. For a more detailed Job Description please contact by email: [email protected].
Required qualifications:
- – University degree.
- – Past experience of at least one year in the tourism, travel (travel agents, tour operators, airways) or hotel industry (Marketing or Sales or Public Relations).
- – Very good knowledge of the German language (Level C).
- – Good knowledge of the English Language (Level B).
- – Good Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and Internet.
- – Certificate of Clear Criminal Record issued by the relevant local authorities that should be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
- – Permit to live and work in Germany (if applicable).
A university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Tourism or in a related subject and good knowledge of the Greek language (Level B) will be considered an advantage.
