Ancient Olive Tree Festival – 12.10.2025

Winner through the time, with the calm power of the Cypriot land, the olive trees, count centuries of life and give lessons of wealth and wisdom.

The tree of offering, a faithful companion, who was here before us, provides shade, olives, oil, seeds, foliage, wood, and roots, contributing to our daily wealth.

The olive oil, apart of being a key ingredient of the Cypriot diet, is linked to good health, history, culture, traditions and religious rituals in Cyprus.

Paramali village, which was a royal estate during the Venetian times, has been blessed with a very large number of centuries-old olive trees, which are a point of reference and a part of the cultural heritage of the village, and a source of inspiration for the festival that will honor them, emphasizing their value, as well as the unique olive oil which, in addition of being a key element of the Mediterranean diet, was also the first medicine and cosmetic in the world.

The Ancient Olive Tree Festival will highlight and promote the tradition, the cultural heritage, and the local gastronomy, while offering entertainment, knowledge and tastings of local products.

With the Ancient olive tree as a symbol and source of inspiration, and its unique olive oil, 26 exhibitors, producers, artists, educators, and musicians will welcome you to Paramali on October the 12th, in a unique festival that honors the Ancient olive trees in every way.

The Ancient Olive Tree Festival attracts and entertains local and foreign travelers with a unique gastronomic welcome, recipes and delicacies, with artisan beauty and wellness products as well as experiential workshops for children.
