Pasteli Festival – 21.9.2025

And our September becomes sweeter with Cypriot traditional pasteli, and a unique welcome with memories from the past. The Pasteli Festival has been placed under the auspices of his excellency, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, which is an honour and acknowledgement for the community of Anogyra.

With a gold sponsor, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, and the involvement of all residents , the entire community of Anogyra is getting ready to host you with traditional recipes, and innovative ones, in a celebration of tradition, taste and culture, in the unique village where the <Black Gold of Cyprus>, is transformed into golden pasteli, in the traditional way.

Pasteli is part of the cultural heritage of Anogyra. It has enormous nutritional value, and is a precious treasure full of vitamins, with countless uses.

Travel through time, among the stone-built houses of the village, and its historical monuments, indulge in the tastes and smells, watch how Black gold turns into golden treat, and feel the magic of its taste.

The organizing committee, has taken care of every aspect to offer you a unique day, which will touch all your senses, with experiential workshops, tours, tastings, a rich musical program and 25 exhibitors with unique products.
